Delhi Skirt Game 2010 RecipientsThe Delhi Skirt Game Committee is currently interviewing candidates to be recipients for this year.
If you know of anyone in Delhi who needs help, you can contact the Skirt Game Committee at recipients@delhiskirtgame.org. With the email, provide a synopsis of what the need is and little bit of information about the person, such as name, address and phone number. All recipients must be interviewed by a subcommittee of the skirt game and the full committee must approve anything that is given to that recipient. The recipient must be a resident of Delhi Township or have strong ties to the township.
Where does our money go? All of the money that is raised and donations that are received are distributed to “recipients”. Recipients are defined as anyone who lives in Delhi Township, has relatives in Delhi Township or has a close relationship with someone in Delhi Township. The Delhi Skirt Game Committee receives applications through the US Mail or through an email sent to: recipients@delhiskirtgame.org. The application will be reviewed by the organization and a team of at least three people will arrange a face to face interview with the proposed recipient. Once the interview is conducted and all questions about the financial well being are asked and answered, the recipient review team presents the information that they have gathered to the full committee for final disposition. The committee can decide to: reject the application, determine that there is a need and assist the recipient immediately; or determine there is a need and place them on the list of recipients for the Skirt Game. The Delhi Skirt Game is the major fund raiser for the organization and happens on the first Friday of August at the Delhi Township Park on Field #1.
