At the Delhi Township Park --- Mark Your Calendars NOW!
It is time now to move into 2014. Here's hoping that the weather will turn warm and we can forget about the terrible winter weather we had to endure.
Here's what we are planning for so far in 2014.
Sunday, April 6, 2014 Broering/Strutz Fundraiser at Jim and Jacks
Saturday, May 3, 2014 Kenny Lipps Annual Golf Outing at Deer Run Golf Course
Thursday, July 31, 2014 The 4th Annual Skirt Game Tailgate Party
Friday, August 1, 2014 the 37th Annual Delhi Skirt Game
Saturday, December 14, 2014 Kids, Cops 'n Firefighters
What a year we are going to have. And to think a few short years ago, we had just the Skirt Game. My how we have grown thanks to the great community that Delhi is.
To read more about our plans, continue reading ...
This is an event that no organization ever wants to have to do, but it is part of the reason this organization exists. If you do a web search on John Strutz, you can find out as many details as you want about the event that changed the Broerings life forever. Suffice it to say, in 2010, the 4 Strutz kids had to go live with their grandparents. Their grandparents had a good life and both worked and were planning for retirement. With the additional of 4 kids to their family their life changed. The grandmother had to quit work, which created financial difficulties. The Skirt Game is stepping in to do what they can to help this family with those finances.
On Sunday April 6th, the community of Delhi is going to come together to assist the Broering family with some of their expenses. We are having a fund raiser at Jim and Jacks on River Road. Jim and Jack's is playing host to this event and donating the use of their facility. Mike Davis is volunteering to perform. The Skirt Game is going to match the proceeds of tickets that are sold, both presale and at the door up to $5000. We are asking everyone in the community to come together and support this family in their time of need.
Here is the information on the fund raiser:
For a copy of the flyer, press on the picture of the flyer just above and you will be able to print a pdf copy of it. Please feel free to distribute it to your friends and relatives.
We are looking for people to purchase tickets in advance if possible. We are looking for donations for baskets that we can raffle off. If you cannot attend and don't want to do a basket, cash donations can be sent to:

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE BROERING/STRUTZ FAMILY. ALL EXPENSES FOR THE FUND RAISER ARE BEING PAID FOR BY THE DELHI SKIRT GAME COMMITTEE.
Kenny Lipps Golf Outing
for Kids, Cops 'n Firefighters
The annual Skirt Game Golf Outing will be held this year at Deer Run Golf Course. The course may be changing, but we plan on having as much fun as ever.
The golf outing will be on Saturday, May 3rd with a shotgun start at 1:00. Entry to the tournament is still a meager $80 if you sign up on or before April 15th. (After April 15th the cost is $90 - you are not guaranteed a spot until your money is received. This year, you can also call in reservations and pay with a credit card. Master Card, Visa, and Discover will all be accepted both before and at the golf course.
For a copy of the flyer and more information press the logo below and a pdf of the flyer will appear that you can print off. It is two pages this year and it is important that you get your registration in early. Last year we had a sell out and could not accept walk-ins

The Skirt Game Tailgate Party
Details are sketchy at this point, but we are planning on another party before the game at the 4th Annual Skirt Game Tailgate Party. We expect it to be bigger and better than last year and are going to try some new and different things as always. Keep an eye out here for updates on our plans as they are made.
The Tailgate Party is planned for the Remke Parking lot on Delhi Pike and will be from 6 - 10 p.m. There will be something there for the entire family so plan on coming for dinner. The food will not be the same as at the Skirt Game.
The Delhi Skirt Game
The 37th Annual Delhi Skirt Game will be held on Friday August 1, 2014 at the Delhi Township Park on and around Field 1. Plans are being made as we speak, but we expect that a great time will be had by all.
If you have any ideas for improving the game or the festivities around the game, come to one of our meetings and join the fun. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at Shiloh Church at the corner of Foley and Anderson Ferry, across from the Middle School and Speedway. The meetings start at 7:00. For more information call us at (513) 451-1197 or send an email to email@example.com.
We are always interested in new ideas.
The success of the Delhi Skirt Game Committee depends heavily on the Skirt Game and the money raised that night, as well as generous donations from our corporate sponsors and individuals. These donations can be in the form of Cash with checks made out to: The Delhi Skirt Game or gifts that can be used as door prizes. We at the Delhi Skirt Game Committee also welcome anyone who wants to become a member of the Committee and to work on any of these fundraising events. The money all stays in Delhi and helps our neighbors who are having financial issues and need assistance. If you care to donate to the cause, donations can be dropped of at the Delhi Police Station on Neeb Road or mailed to:
